Google is an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products that include online advertising technologies, search, cloud computing, and software.[7] Most of its profits are derived from AdWords, an online advertising service that places advertising near the list of search results.[8][9]

Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D. students at Stanford University, California. Together, they own about 14 percent of its shares and control 56 percent of the stockholder voting power through supervoting stock

Daydream is a virtual reality (VR) platform developed by Google.[1] It was announced at Google I/O 2016 and will be released in Autumn in the same year[2][3][4] with additional sources indicating a November 2016 date.[5]

The platform is to be built-into the Android operating system starting with the release of Android 7.0 Nougat, and includes both software and hardware specifications, calling compatible phones “Daydream-Ready”. It will be the successor to Google Cardboard.
