Electro Pop project BABY RAPTORS is the brain child of New York artist TORA. In late 2015, a Brooklyn studio saw the rumblings of this new musical venture. After being blown away by Action Bronson’s ‘Blue Chips’ Mixtape TORA knew she had to work with its producer, fellow New Yorker PARTY SUPPLIES (Fool’s Gold Records). The two got working in the studio and Baby Raptors was born.
‘I Am My Only Love’ is the first of 2 tracks from the sessions and after dropping it on Soundcloud it was immediately picked up by tastemakers, premiering on The Fader and gaining further support from Pop Justice, Pigeons and Planes, Mass Appeal and many more.
Tora explains “Baby Raptors was created with the sole purpose of making feel good party music through various producer collaborations. I really wanted my first collab to be with Party Supplies for his signature nu-school production that blends dance and 80’s pop.”
Party Supplies are an American record production and songwriting team, composed of Justin Nealis and Sean Mahon. On August 27, 2013, Justin Nealis and Sean Mahon released their first album as a group, titled Tough Love,[10][2] on Fool’s Gold Records. Rolling Stone rated Tough Love as the 13th best dance album of 2013 and described the album as being “dance music for introverts.”
