Paris: Eagles of Death Metal Discuss Terror Attacks

During Eagles of Death Metal’s November 13 show at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris, gunmen entered the venue and opened fire on the crowd, leaving at least 90 dead. The band spoke to VICE about the tragic events that took place that night.

Context: A series of coordinated terrorist attacks occurred in Paris and its northern suburb, Saint-Denis, on the night of 13 November 2015. The attackers killed 130 people,[2] including 89 at the Bataclan theatre,[7] where they took hostages before engaging in a stand-off with police. 368 people were injured,[4] 80–99 seriously.[6][5] Seven of the attackers also died, while authorities continued to search for accomplices.[3]
