Before the Flood is a 2016 documentary film about climate change directed by Fisher Stevens. The film was produced by a collaboration between Stevens, Leonardo DiCaprio, James Packer, Brett Ratner, Trevor Davidoski, and Jennifer Davisson Killoran. Martin Scorsese is an executive producer.[2] Revealed by DiCaprio on September 9, 2016 at the Toronto International Film Festival, the documentary will debut October 31, 2016 on the National Geographic Channel.[3]

Fisher Stevens (born Steven Fisher; November 27, 1963) is an American actor, director, producer and writer. As an actor, he is best known for his portrayals of Chuck Fishman on Early Edition. His most recent successes include the 2010 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for his film The Cove and the 2008 Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary Feature for his film Crazy Love. In addition, he has directed the Leonardo DiCaprio-produced documentary Before the Flood, which is executive produced by Martin Scorsese, has screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, and will be screened by National Geographic.

Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio[1] (/dˈkæpri./; born November 11, 1974) is an American actor, film producer, and environmentalist. In the early 1990s, DiCaprio began his career by appearing in television commercials, after which he had recurring roles in various television series such as the soap opera, Santa Barbara, and the sitcom, Growing Pains. In 1993, he began his film career by starring as Josh in Critters 3 (1991). He starred in the film adaptation of the memoir, This Boy’s Life (1993), and was praised for his supporting role in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993). He gained public recognition with leading roles in The Basketball Diaries (1995), and the romantic drama Romeo + Juliet (1996), before achieving international fame with James Cameron‘s epic romance, Titanic (1997), which became the highest-grossing film to that point and is the second highest grossing film of all time.
