iPhone X (“X” pronounced “ten” /tɛn/)[9] is a smartphone designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc. It was announced on September 12, 2017, alongside the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus at the Steve Jobs Theater in the Apple Park campus. The phone was released on November 3, 2017. This iPhone marks the device’s tenth anniversary, with “X” being the symbol for “ten” in Roman numerals.

Chinese New Year,[2] also known as the Spring Festival (simplified Chinese春节traditional Chinese春節pinyinChūn Jié), or simply the Lunar New Year, in modern China, is an important Chinese festival celebrated at the turn of the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. Celebrations traditionally run from the evening preceding the first day, to the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first calendar month. The first day of the New Year falls on the new moon between 21 Jan and 20 Feb.[3] In 2017, the first day of the Lunar New Year was on Saturday, 28 January, initiating the year of the Rooster. The upcoming year of the Dogcommences on Friday, 16 February 2018.
